An exciting opportunity for a highly organised professional to provide administrative and governance support to the Global Head of Governance and Company Secretary.

- Provide support to the Company Secretary and corporate governance function to ensure seamless delivery of company secretary support to Board, Executive Committee and Senior Management.
- Support the Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretaries in drafting meeting agendas and the request of Board and Committee papers.
- Coordinate the collection and distribution of Board and Committee papers ahead of meetings.
- Ensure that all matters relating to the effective and efficient operation of Boards and Committees are attended to in a proactive and diligent manner.
- Maintain Diligent and company statutory registers.
- Oversee and maintain company secretary policies and director interests registers.
- Ad hoc administrative support to the Company Secretary team.
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Strong organisational skills, including ability to set priorities and pursue tasks to completion within deadlines.
- Strong administrative and secretarial skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communications skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience with electronic Board and regulatory portals desirable.
- A good understanding of compliance and risk management operations.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment; flexibility and a willingness to adapt to a changing digital environment.
- A high degree of diplomacy and discretion and be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Qualification in commerce, business or corporate governance.
- At least two years’ experience.
- Prior administrative experience, ideally with a Company Secretary team, or other relevant experience within the corporate industry.
