Nowasys Services is seeking a SQL Developer to join our Database Solutions Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an intelligent, energetic, and self-motivated individual to play a vital role within a growing part of Nowasys Services. Primary responsibilities consist of writing SQL code, marketing database development, update process development, and marketing data integration.
Core Responsibilities:
· Write update processes using SQL
· Develope and maintain SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server
· Develop and maintain SSIS packages
· Develop and maintain SSRS packages
· Develop new client marketing database implementations
· Set-up and update the Dovetail Application (Software-as-a-Service)
· Build, maintain, and process recurring projects
· Review and analyse data
· Work with Production on update processes or projects
· Work with Client Services on client requests or questions
· Engage in research and development pursuant to new marketing technologies and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 5+ years writing SQL code
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field or relevant professional experience
· 3+ years-experience with Microsoft SQL Server
· Experience with at least one leading ETL tool, specifically SQL Server SSIS or similar
· Experience with SSRS is a plus
· Experience with SSAS is a plus
· Experience in database marketing is a plus
· Experience with FirstLogic Address Standardisation/Match Consolidate or equivalent is a plus
· Exceptionally detail-oriented
· Supportive of and adherent to precise coding standards
· Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
· Verbal and written communication skills
· Experience in Microsoft Office applications
· Experience with AWS, Redshift, and/or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) are a plus
· Experience with Big Query or MongoDB a plus
