Swinburne Research has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Lecturer, Research Training.
In this role, you will teach two core units in the Graduate Certificate in Research and Innovation Management (GC-RESIM) program. Additionally, you will manage enrolled students, evaluate the effectiveness of the course, design and implement relevant strategies and learning innovations for improving its content and delivery and take on administrative tasks associated with the appointment.
The successful applicant will also support the Dean, Graduate Research in areas such as planning and strategy, Higher Degree Research (HDR) supervisor accreditation and reaccreditation, researcher development programs, HDR policies and procedures and other areas.

About You
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience in tertiary teaching in areas relevant to research training. This includes a strong record of teaching and the ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.
- Demonstrated ability to implement high quality student engagement methods and programs in a variety of learning modes that respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
- Demonstrated emerging academic leadership qualities in such areas as research, supervising of HDR students, teaching, community interaction and professional excellence.
Qualifications
- A PhD qualification with relevant experience in researcher development or a STEM related discipline.
- Teaching qualification or progress towards – e.g. Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching (or similar
