The main mission for this role is to lead the day to day operational management of a global team of Project Managers supporting SBM Business Activities (Greenfield & Brownfield Projects, Operations, Internal Initiatives).
Key role contributions:
- Manage the development and utilization of a team of Project Managers
- Maintain a pool of experienced Project Managers capable of delivering individual packages, small independent projects or being part of a larger project delivering major scopes of work
- Review and validate Project Execution Plans
- Review project performance attending dashboards, monitoring KPIs and managing GRS performance meeting
- Collect relevant management information to support the development of the PMT, inform resource decisions, ley appointments and transfer of knowledge
- Support the PMO in the development and execution of strategic roadmap to ensure that PMT team is fit for purpose and able to deliver on existing and future business commitments.
Key Experience/Skills:
- Experience of managing Senior Professionals & Managers at a department level with the ability to provide leadership and direction.
- Experience delivering major capital projects within Oil and Gas industry as a Project Manager or Director
- Must have a strong reputation of delivery as well as ability to influence peers and key stakeholders
- Effective communication to manage key stakeholders and senior sponsors
